This includes first and foremost, a well written Content  that fulfils the user intent.

Make sure your content proves to be the checkmate. Besides compelling content, professionalism demands you to focus on keywords. 

Keyword frequency, relevance, usefulness and progression are key factors to keep in mind while working on content.

Second on-page SEO factor is the architecture of your site, which includes URL optimization, meta tags, header tags, and keyword placement. Your site architecture must help search engine crawlers to navigate your site and help users find what they are looking for.

Lastly, HTML headings, anchor words and more should provide clues both for search engines and for the users.

The search engines not only focus on your on-page SEO factors. In fact, search engines evaluate a site more on an authority basis. This authority and reputation is evaluated by the quality of the site’s backlinks, the user’s geographic location and many other factors to deliver the most relevant results.

Spams and shady techniques are categorized as toxins. Using them has an aim of manipulating ranking signals to gain an unfair advantage over the competition.

But this usage can backfire as well. Bringing such techniques into practice can cause your page to receive a penalty and your website might be deindexed.
